Have you signed up? The new library information system on the go!

Dear Library Patrons:

The Library has launched its new information system from August 9, 2010. You are cordially invited to make use of its brand new services. It takes some time to get familiar with the operation of a new system, therefore please feel free to provide us with your comments and suggestions for further improvements. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this transition period. The Library also offers on-site instruction on use of the Library Webpac, please call (05)272-0411 ext. 15101 for assistance.

To ensure the accuracy of your personal information and assist us in the future correspondences with you, the new system requires every patron to sign “The Statement of Patrons’ Privileges.” We strongly recommend that you login to http://webpac.lib.ccu.edu.tw/, or click “The Patrons’ Privileges” on the Library Website right away.

Your personal ID for login to the new system remains unchanged, but the password for foreign students and faculty members will be defaulted as the last five digits of your A.R.C. (Alien Resident Certificate) or passport number.

Your sign-up will take only a few minutes, but substantially help the Library strengthen the idea of an eco-friendly campus.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. The new system will suspend the borrowing privileges of those who haven’tcompleted signing “The Statement of Patrons’ Privileges” after January 1, 2011.
2. Faculty members' special or long-term research accounts are exempt from the sign-up procedures.
3. New students may hold their sign-up until receiving the student ID.
